This San Anselmo kirtan camp seemed to ask: how much life-stuff can you pack into one week? It was my first time teaching group harmonium classes as part of the camp, which was exciting and gratifying. It was a time to grieve some family stuff, and risk being seen while grieving… which wound up as quite an experience of being supported by this beloved community. And it was a time to fall in love unexpectedly, sing Haré Krishna in ecstasy and in aching, and let the rest of life dissolve into the primordial heart’s emocean, reflected in the eyes of another. And then on the second day of camp… hehe
